Ingredients

4 lobster tails

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prepare the Lobster Tails: Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the center, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the meat out slightly and let it rest on top of the shell for an impressive presentation.

Make the Garlic Herb Butter Sauce: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.

Add Herbs and Seasoning: Stir in the chopped parsley, thyme, lemon zest, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper into the melted butter. Mix well to combine.

Arrange the Lobster Tails: Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Generously brush the garlic herb butter sauce over the lobster meat, reserving some for later.

Bake the Lobster Tails: Place the lobster tails in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through. Baste with the remaining butter sauce halfway through cooking for extra flavor.

Serving: Once cooked, remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve the lobster tails warm, drizzled with more garlic herb butter, and with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
