Ingredients

1 lb (450g) ground beef

8 oz (225g) pasta (penne or rotini)

1 medium onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, stirring frequently to avoid burning.

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef. Break it apart with a spoon and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Stir in the Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

Add the pasta and beef broth to the pot. Ensure the pasta is submerged in the broth, then bring to a boil.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed.

Remove from heat and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined and creamy.

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. If it appears too thick, add a little bit of water or additional broth to reach your desired consistency.

Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley for a touch of color and flavor.
