Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Season the pork chops generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until a golden crust forms. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and sauté for about 3 minutes until they begin to soften. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Pour in the chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine. Scrape the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and return the pork chops to the skillet. Cover and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the pork to cook through.

Remove the pork chops again and keep them warm on a plate. To the skillet, stir in the heavy cream and Dijon mustard, cooking for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Return the pork chops back into the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley. Ensure to pour extra sauce over each chop.
