Add the butter and let it melt completely, swirling the pan to mix.
Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and lightly golden.
Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
Flip the shrimp and add the lemon juice, along with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fully cooked through.
Remove from heat and sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the shrimp for garnish.
Serve immediately while hot, with crusty bread or over a bed of rice for a complete meal.
